my life just changed...

wow - i think this is the longest i have gone in 7 months without a blog post -
we moved!

yahoo - - -
i had forgotten how amazing it is to have your *own* place.

i will do a little house tour in a week or two...
yes, we still are missing our beds...
father in law is going to move them in here in a day or two...
so yes, we have been so excited to get in here that we are sleeping on the couch,
sometimes the floor...
camping out...

but i did not want to wait to move!

our little place is adorable!
the living room is a light pistachio green...
we have dark brown couches,
and lots of warm red, gold and green accents.

the bathroom is a warm grey - i love it!

and the kitchen...
oh, the kitchen...

beautifully red,
perfect for us.

we moved to a different side of town about 15 minutes from my family
and the "normal" places I shop, etc.
That means that i am trying out new grocery stores,
new coffee shops, and elle switched schools.

i am loving life over here.
yesterday i had my moms of mercy partner and one of my BFFs over
and we ate yummy cookies and cakes from the local bakery.
then i met another dear friend at an italian gelato and coffee shop on this side of town...
it was amazing to see her...and i ordered caprese salad!
my fav...
since we live 2 blocks from lake michigan and the zoo -
after i got my daughter from school
we took an hour and a half walk on the beach...
and it *felt* life-changing...hehe.
the air, the waves, the sand, my girls running around in circles -
giggling like crazy...
it was amazing.
((not to mention we came home for spaghetti and fresh mozzarella...
guess it was just an Italian kind of day!))

life feels sweet over here...
its completely different ...
new school, new view out of my windows...
but i am at peace...

and i put up twinkle lights on our windows last night...
a year round tribute to You've Got Mail.

photos to come...

love....
