a weight loss update ;)

guess what?
i am down over 20 pounds now...
been plugging away at my weight loss goals since late August and
i am so glad i did not give up.
if you get discouraged by the # on the scale -
here's some encouragement...
i didn't lose any weight according to the scale - for about 2 weeks -
then woke up and was down 5 pounds in one day.
sometimes your body needs time to adjust,
don't let the number not "going down fast enough" discourage you!
it's simple chemistry and math, really -
calories in,
calories out.
i feel pretty darn great ;)
